Good Morning!

We begin our study of Hebrews: The Nearness of King Jesus by Lisa Harper today.   This study is self guided which means that the lessons for each week are to be done at your own pace.  They are not divided up into daily assignments.  This week, you will be working on the lessons found in Week 1: Angels Rock But Jesus Rules, pages 14-32.  At the end of the lesson are extra credit questions as well as an extra credit Biblical Illustrator article.  These additions are given to us to enhance our understanding.  The biblical text used for this lesson is Hebrews 1:5-14.

Welcome to the study!  I’m so excited to begin and share God’s Word together!

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.  After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.”   Hebrews 1:1-4  ESV

In the last session, we watched session 7 video and then there was a panel discussion. I purchased the video bundle but the panel discussion not part of it. Is there any way it can be viewed on the Internet or on youtube? What was the name of the gentleman on that panel?

I’m sorry that the panel discussion was not a part of the video bundle that you purchased. I was unaware of it not being included. I did this study two years ago and I don’t recall if I saw the panel discussion or not on the videos that I viewed. I looked through Youtube and didn’t see the panel discussion offered. I’m only able to offer what I can find on Youtube due to copyright laws. You might try contacting Lisa Harper’s ministry for assistance and answers to your questions at http://lisaharper.net/ or Lifeway at http://www.lifeway.com/ Either of these groups might be able to answer your questions. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. Blessings!
