We will begin our Fall Bible study session on Monday, September 8th, 2014.  The study will run from September 8th – November 3rd, 2014.

{For those of you who live in the Clinton/Jackson, MS area, we have two studies taking place at First United Methodist Church of Clinton: Monday nights at 6:45 pm and Friday mornings at 9:15 am.  If you plan to attend one of these brick and mortar classes, please let us know in the comments section of this post or send me an email.  Books will be available at the first lesson for purchase.}

I’ve never taken a Bible study, what is involved?

This study is prepared into 9 weeks of  5 lessons each week.  To participate, you will need to purchase a member workbook, a bible, pen and paper.  Also, you will need to carve out study time into your daily routine.  You do not need to complete each lesson in a sitting.  Most take between 30-45 minutes.  If you need to break up the lesson into more manageable amounts like 10 minutes at a time, please do so.

Details for Participating in an Online Study

•  On Mondays during this study, a summation will be given of that week’s lessons.  For example, I will post a summation of Week 1 on Monday, September 15th.

•  On Wednesdays and Fridays of the study, I will post additional content such as scripture quotes, videos, articles or music as additions to the study.

• If you have any suggestions or find something that you feel will benefit the group, please share and/ or send me an email.

• I will provide a closed Facebook Group for members of this study to join and share in discussion and in prayer for one another.  If you would like to be a part of this group, please provide me with your email address.  You may send it to me by email or post it below in the comment section.

•  The comment section is always open and available for comments and discussion.  I love getting a notice that someone has left me a comment so don’t be shy!

• If you have a prayer request, you may post it on the prayer page.  For more sensitive requests, please send me an email.
