Thessalonica: Past and Present

Good Morning!

How are you on this Wednesday morning?  If you’re interested in participating in the Fall Bible Study Session of Children of the Day, a study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians by Beth Moore, you’re not too late.  You can find details about the study by clicking here.

How do you like Week 1 of our study?  I think we’re in for quite a journey through the scriptures with Paul, Silas and Timothy.  One of the things I love best when I travel is immersing myself in the culture of a place and I like to do the same thing when I study the Bible.  I like having a visual image of a place as I’m studying about it.  I found this wonderful post at BiblePlaces.com about Thessalonica.  I think you’ll find the information and pictures helpful to enhance your study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians.  Be sure and check out the additional links on Thessalonica at the bottom of their post.   Click on the picture to take you to their site.
