Good Morning!

Today begins the summer bible series, Angels of the Realm. This series is designed with you and your summer schedule in mind. I’m offering two different ways for you to participate each week. You can wade into the study or you can dive into the study and go deeper. You decide.

  1. Each Monday, my post will focus on a particular topic about or characteristic of angels. All that you need to do to participate in the bible series is show up to read. You are only wading in. So easy!
  2. If you want to dive in, I’m providing a study file found at the bottom of each Monday’s post. That file will contain a study guide for the week of additional material to enhance your understanding of the topic introduced in that day’s post. For those of you that choose this option, I’m also offering discussion time in a Facebook group page. I’ll let you know in advance the day and time that I’ll be online for discussion. You’ll need to provide me with an email address for you so that I can invite you to the Facebook group. We will begin the discussion time online after May 25, 2015.

I became interested in a biblical understanding of angels almost 15 years ago. After hearing a speaker give a presentation about angels, I was curious to discover biblical truth from fiction. That journey turned into a bible study that I wrote for my bible study class. Since that time, I have continued to read and study not only about angels but anything pertaining to the supernatural in scripture from the plagues of Egypt to the Holy Spirit.

Angels of the Realm is a retooled version of the first study I wrote. I hope that you will be a part of this fascinating study. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned. Experience has taught me that biblical understanding about angels is minimal. Myths and mistruths continue to abound. I hope over the weeks to come that your curiosity and questions about angels will be answered. If you ever have a question or comment, please post a comment here or on the Facebook page or send me a message. I’ll do my best to answer it.

Our first lesson will begin next Monday!!

Blessings,

Mimi
